Will is a product manager for Salem. He has over 5 years of experience developing technical applications, including 3 years as a product and technical lead. He loves diving headfirst into user challenges and building applications that meet the full range of customer needs.

Why Salem

Salem’s mission of enabling customers to scale their cyber monitoring capabilities aligns with Will’s passion for developing intelligent automation solutions that make organizations operate more effectively. He is excited about Salem’s potential for users across a broad range of industries and technological maturity levels.

Responsibilities

Will is responsible for Salem’s product vision and roadmap. His most important responsibility is to act as the “voice of the consumer” to ensure Salem users have a seamless experience while using the application.

Career Highlights

Prior to starting with Salem Cyber, Will received his MBA from Chicago Booth. At school, he concentrated his academic studies on entrepreneurial topics and further developed his managerial and decision-making skills to lead cross-functional technical teams effectively.

Before Booth, Will worked as a Managing Consultant and technical lead on the Advanced Analytics and Automation team at Guidehouse. His projects focused on enterprise software development, including leading a team to develop a cloud-based data management platform for a multi-billion-dollar program in the Department of Defense.

Educational Background

Will obtained his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Finance. He attended the University of Virginia, where he obtained his Master’s in Public Policy, with highest distinction, and a Bachelor’s in Economics.  

Personal Interests

Will is an avid rock climber out of Chicago, where there are no rocks to climb.
